Charles Kinsey a mental health therapist was shot by Florida police in northern Miami while trying to retrieve an autistic patient who had wandered away from his group home. Police were responding to the call of a suicidal man in the area. What they had found was Kinsey on his back with his hands up trying to console and calm his patient.
Once again we run into police brutality and this time by someone who has gotten in trouble before. On Saturday, in Columbus Ohio officer Zachary Rosen was caught on tape kicking a handcuffed man DeMarco Anderson in the head even though he was laying on the ground, back facing the sky .In the video DeMarco Anderson can be heard saying “Are you serious?” “I got cuffs on sir, Are you serious.”
Today 60 police officers will begin to wear body cameras, the introduction of the necessity of these cameras have been brutal, death ridden and long overdue, since the deaths of hundreds of unarmed men and women have been over proportionately ruled plausible by the court of law.
